About Fairy Queen
The Fairy Queen, is the oldest working Steam Locomotive in the world, built in 1855. It was completely over hauled in 1996 & resumed commercial operations in 1997 for 2 Days/1 Nights Tourist circuit from Delhi to Alwar.as Fairy Queen train tour In 1998 it was Certified as the world's oldest working locomotive by the Guinness Book of World Records

Facilities
The Fairy Queen has only two coaches attached to it. One, a specially designed air-conditioned car with fifty comfortable seats on which guests can recline and enjoy the ride from Delhi to Alwar and back. Besides there is a well maintained pantry car for on board catering. The additional attraction on the train is the lounge in the front of the passenger coach. Its large window offers a beautiful view of the Fairy Queen engine as it puffs away and steams across the countryside of Rajasthan on its way to Alwar.

Tour Program
The itinerary of Fairy Queen includes 1Night/2 Days of a momentous journey. In this period you visit the beautiful city of Alwar, and the world famous Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary.

Day One :
The train leaves Delhi Cantonment Railway station at 10 a.m. on every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the months of October to March. The Heritage train takes 6 hours to journey over 160 k.m. from Delhi/Alwar.Enroute Fascinating moments to capture unique memories of this train trip on your camera. Light refreshments & lunch. are served on board ,in comfort of your seats. On arrival at Alwar Railway station,transfer by air-conditioned vehicles to Jungle Lodge near Sariska Tiger Reserve. Check into Jungle Lodge,on arrival.for night stay. In evening enjoy cultural program with dinner At Sariska hotel.

Day Two :
Early morning excursion to Sariska Tiger Reserve in open to air jeeps.Return to Hotel for breakfast. After check-out by 12 Noon,drive back to alwar railway station & board the Fairy Queen Lunch & light refreshments served on board. Arrive in Delhi by 7 p.m.Tour ends

Schedule
The famous Fairy Queen leaves Delhi Cantonment Railway station on every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the months between October to March. During rest of the year it is halted for engine and coaches renovation and also because of hot summer.

25% to be paid at the time of booking. with names & nationality of all the passengers

25% to be paid 60 days before the journey.

Cancellation Rules :
Cancellation must be advised in writing to us.
On cancellation, refund will be made. Certain amount of the ticket value will be deducted as follows.

25% of the total tariff if the request for cancellation is received more than 60 days before departure.

50% of the total tariff if the request for cancellation is received 40 to 60 days before departure.

100% of the total tariff if the request for cancellation is received, less than 40 days before departure.

Disputes(if any) subject to jurisdiction of courts of New Delhi(India) only
